Piles of presents sit secretly wrapped beneath a palm tree, its branches draped with lights. This is the set up for a game; these things all come in pairs. Contestents open their gifts in secret...and then must find their match!

This is a two part social game.
> Part one (signups) will run through December 19th; during this phase, users will sign up by posting their kin and a short entry in the thread.

> Part two (RP/guesses) will run through December 26th; at the start of this phase, each participant will be PMed just what's inside their giftbox. Each gift has a matching gift that another kin has opened. The trick is to find your partner, describing your gift or what you think its match is using only one syllable words. Can you find your mate? Note: THIS GAME WILL BE PLAYED IN MODERN ERA HUMANOID FORM.

Each player can enter this contest only once.
The event will end on December 26th at 11:59PM EST (though historically, these things usually run long, until everything has been figured out!)

Humanoid Form Description: Stardust is a tall, strapping man with a glorious mane of blonde hair that he keeps back in a man bun. He is 'dressed up' which means a pair of jeans with a snakeskin belt and a teal polo. If non-human details are allowed, he's still sporting his horns. Otherwise, he has a rather gaudy golden belt buckle with a decal of a ram skull on it. He's usually got a smile on his face and has a very laid-back air about him.

Stardust glanced at the gifts under the tree and waited for someone to approach first, but it seemed no one wanted to start it off. He waited just a tiny bit more before talking a few steps forward, figuring he'd break the ice. Sometimes all it took was one kin to start a movement!

"Let's see...ooh, this one looks nice," he said, spotting a blue box wrapped with a white and gold bow. He pulled that one towards him before shuffling away from the presents, letting others pick their box. He was tempted to give the box a little shake to see if he could tell what was inside just by the noise but he wasn't sure if that would be cheating.

Wait a Lifetime has been pulled from the world with this unexpected tropical winter market. It's hard not to gravitate towards the warmth when one had expected frost, but she still keeps to the edge. She doesn't know anyone, but the palm tree all draped in lights . . . The presents beneath it seems to sparkle and, though she doesn't think for a minute there would be anything there for her, she peeks closely at a pale violet gift with silver ribbon. She can't take her eyes off of it, not even after the other kin come. It has to be hers.

She hesitates, until another a kin takes a gift, and then she slinks forward. She pulls the present towards herself, waiting for someone to say something. When no one does, she backs away with it.

Winter market had been abuzz with excitement since the start, and she was so curious about all there was to offer. The beach-esk theme was different, but she didn't hate it. Instead of a giant pine, a palm tree was draped in lights and presents below. She immediately spotted a gold-wrapped one and danced over to it on light feet, snatching it up with a bright grin, and then backed away and waited.

With how she rocked back and forth on her heels with childish enthusiasm, Contact was clearly delighted to be here and taking part. She gave a clap to each person that accepted a gift, encouraging others to step forward as well. The more the merrier! It made a game all that more delightful if there were a lot of people having fun.

“Is it my turn now?” Her eyes gleamed, her moving forward with bounding steps to inspect the presents until she finally selected one that gave her the best vibes. She only just refrained from shaking it next to her ear and instead opted for holding it clasped within both hands like a sacred idol she was sworn to defend.

His lips and almost claw-like manicure both match the colour of the bag and the dress exactly, and he's in a tall, strappy set of gold sandals.

He looks down at most the people gathered for the event as he approaches-- some because they're already seated, others because of just how tall he is even in flat footwear-- before finding a place to settle himself down, crossing a leg and leaning back before flipping his hair over a shoulder to settle in and wait. He pauses for a moment and his smile widens a touch as he notices Amber, a younger relative, and twiddles his fingers in her direction as he tries to catch her eye in an unobtrusive manner.

She steps forward and grabs a present from under the tree at random, not really putting much thought into it.

Despite the almost garish nature of her outfit, Sour's confidence allows her to pull it off. Her boots clomp loudly as she takes her turn to march up to the pile and get a gift.
