A few moments of silence passed, leaving Flickering Lights to wonder if Bright had been startled by some passing creature once again, before he heard another voice. Even more, before speaking the other kin stomped as though to draw his attention. Whether it was intentional or not the Zikwa was delighted by the gesture, and quickly turned his head toward the sound, ears quickly darting forward and obviously indicating his attention. Bright was still hissing, but had since pressed her own head against the top of his, resting between his eager ears. She had thankfully moved off his face and was now resting most of her body around his neck, still protective but at least now she could see what she was protective over, so was no longer in full alert mode. Especially since the other buck wasn't making any particularly aggressive moves. Honestly Bright was being almost... nice. The buck chuckled a bit, wondering if she sensed his pleasure over this potential companion or was simply in a good mood.
Flickering Lights laughed again at the buck's comment, "Do not worry about Bright, she's actually being downright friendly all things considered." Tilting his head slightly, the snake flicked her tongue out as though in response. The buck smiled, all teeth and fangs, which while he was obviously quite happy could be a bit intimidating. "I'm enjoying the colors, and scents, and sensations~" the Zikwa trails off slightly before beaming at the buck, fangs flashing in the sun. Oh, the other kin actually wanted to stay! His voice seemed a sweet as his current actions, so Flickering Lights was beyond pleased. "Please! I'd love to hear what the flowers look like to one sighted, you may come and sit near me if you'd like, so long as you approach slowly Bright should be nice..." Tilting his head again as though looking up at her, despite the fact that he obviously wasn't, the buck tapped the ground near him as far as his hoof would go from his seated position. "If you stop here, you will know if she's comfortable with you being so close, and can sit right next to me." He then patted the ground right be his hide before settling his hoof back in.
The buck flashed another teeth-filled smile in what he believed was the buck's direction, assuming he had not moved before awaiting the sound of the other buck's movement. Based on the fact he hadn't been able to see anything so far he probably wouldn't be able to catch anything until the buck was right up close, if he was lucky. Though Flickering Lights was curious what color the shy buck might be, perhaps the same color as the flowers? He shifted quite excitedly, his fur brimming with his anticipation as Bright flicked her tongue again and continued to let out a low hiss, an odd combination of opposite moods.
