What was supposed to be an innocuous swim around the lake and through the waterfall has become something much more. Your kin emerges from the depths and has webbed feet. Along with a chest full of plumage. And all the fixings to denote that they are very much a duck now. They aren't in the swamp anymore. Try as they might to hop from one waterfall curtain to the other side, they cannot find their way back home. Distressed words come out as garbled, outraged honks and calls. Finally, they calm down enough to peep at their new reflection over the water's edge.
