Easy Rhythm is somehow, carefully, earning the lions' trust. She doesn't want to ruin it by going too fast or brashly about the process, so she takes her time.

The mousy woman's care seems to be continuing to reward her at the moment. Slow and steady does the trick, it really seems.

Gentle, but firm. She feels close, but doesn't want overconfidence to be her downfall in working with the big cats.

Easy Rhythm finally steps away from the lions, wiping a few beads of sweat off her brow as she hands off the training whip to the next participant to try their hand at the task. Her nerves finally show through with an excited little laugh, adjusting her glasses and shawl in turn. "Goodness, that was quite a lot! I think I did my best, but I'm sure someone will likely do better than me. I can't wait to see what happens, haha!"

And she's off to get a refreshment, and watch whoever goes next to see if she could have improved her technique in some way. Hopefully she gets the chance to see the backstage of the circus, it's so unique!

Leaves You Breathless has handled animals before--she hunted them though. She feels that taming is something that might not come naturally.

Her first try is immediately a bust. She tries to push down the growing apprehension as she tries again.

Maybe a third time is a charm? Leaves You Breathless swears the lions can smell her fear.

Slow and steady wins the race, Leaves You Breathless just has to keep doing what works.

OKAY! It's coming a bit easier to her now. The lions are finally cooperating. She regains a little bit of her confidence. Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite her in the rear.

A little shocked by how far she's gotten, Leave You Breathless can't help but feel like she'll be able to go through the entire line of lions.

She's really close to the back of that line of lions. Should she risk it? YES. Let's do ONE MORE. crosses fingers

This last lion looks like the most difficult one. If she's too stern, it's going to start freaking out. It needs the gentlest of nudging for it to follow what she wants. This is all or nothing!

Strange Creature wasn't sure about lions. Crocodiles, yes, but lions? She didn't really know much about working with mammals. She found them much more unpredictable, with body language that was substantially harder to read. Still, she was game for most things, and she was more than willing to give lion taming a try... she could always bail if the big cats got too unruly.
