Breaking Free eyed the dummy, shuffling around it nervously. It wasn't that she didn't know how to fight - she knew! Her dad had given her some self-defense skills, both before she had declared her intent to leave and then very shortly after that declaration, with great enthusiasm. (It was a little overbearing, but she loved him.)
It was mostly just the kin around her, all which were doing fantastic and she was just. Nervous. So instead of actually kicking she just eyed the thing and waited - it was a tactical move, or something.

Finally, getting tired of the shuffling, she put together her courage and rushed at the wooden dummy. Both the combined weight of her smacking into it, and a well timed kick, toppled it into a pile. She smiled, pleased, and then carried on her way.
