Most Wanted was feeling pretty nervous about the whole situation. He didn't want to die. The huge amounts of food helped. Who was he to question mouthfuls of somebody else's hard work?

But he thought he probably ought to make himself useful before kicked him out. He slunk over to the dummies. His fight strategy usually involved getting in a sucker kick and then getting out of there, and that's the energy he brought to kicking the thing real low, right in the sticks.

Most Wanted spun around, landing another blow. Where somebody's teeth might have been. He didn't have any compunctions about beating up Sticky here, who wasn't going to round up a bunch of his friends later to return the favor.

Doing more than one hit wasn't far off of dancing, he guessed, which he liked.

Most Wanted stood, triumphant, feeling like, well, if anything, he'd given a good show.

No way they'd chase him out now, right? The stew was sitting good. He felt warmer all over even with the sun missing. When he'd shown up, he'd been half-starved and cold and wobbly from hunger, and now he felt, if not at the top of his game, able to go a little longer.

He gave Tenacious a rare, toothy smile.
