Animal bones scattered across the floor of the swamp.

Fog rolled in across the swamp, covering the bones until they disappeared completely.

Refusing to accept their fate, they rose above the fog and moved to the sound of the wind.

Over the breaking waves was an array of beautiful light.
The smell combined into the sight.

Sometime later, the rain slowed down and the clouds began to part. The sun crested over the clouds in the sky as the rain drops sprinkled to a stop.
